(1993-2006) The goal of the Air Force Memorial Foundation was to create a permanent memorial for the men and women of the United States Air Force and their families.
Work on the project included site selection, permitting, design team selection, and project management. Upon completion, the memorial was dedicated in an official ceremony in October of 2006 and is now open to the public.
