
In August of 2008, Ken Davis joined Trinity Works as Chief Operating Officer to manage the day-to-day operations of the development and consulting divisions of the company. Mr. Davis brings over 27 years of diverse experience in real estate development to Trinity Works, having served in executive-level positions for several engineering and development firms in north Texas.
Mr. Davis’ expertise is in the areas of horizontal development, property evaluation, infrastructure planning, public-private partnership development and construction. His experience includes over four years as Vice President of Development for Hillwood, where he focused on the day-to-day development operations at the 10,000-plus acre AllianceTexas development. In addition, Mr. Davis was responsible for regional infrastructure planning and development to serve the project, which has grown to house a world-class industrial airport, a BNSF intermodal rail facility and over 30 million square feet of office, retail, residential, warehouse and industrial properties serving over 22,000 employees. Mr. Davis continues to serve Hillwood in a consulting capacity, focusing on regional infrastructure issues and on the technical and financial evaluation of potential new business strategies.
Mr. Davis also served as Director of Acquisitions for a Dallas-based residential development firm, and as stockholder with two different engineering firms in the north Texas area. His development work has taken him to projects across the United States, particularly on large-scale, mixed-use projects. He has also provided development support for many of Mr. Manning’s international development projects.
In addition to his development activities, Mr. Davis serves the State of Texas as one of the founding Commissioners on the Texas Residential Construction Commission, which was formed in 2003 by the Texas Legislature to regulate residential construction in Texas. Mr. Davis was appointed to that post by Governor Rick Perry, and continues to serve in that role today.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
